Our Story

If you are looking for a quiet off the beaten path campground. This is the place. We stayed here for an event we were attending at Bristol Drag strip. It was an easy 30 minute drive to Bristol. Campground was very nice and the owners were even better. The house that they rent on the property is really nice.

One of our favorite stops on the trip! The grounds are gorgeous and the owners are more than willing to accommodate any needs. Would happily stay there again.

The owners are extremely kind and accommodating. We were in a bind at another campsite and needed to stay somewhere else with little to no notice on a Saturday night no less. As soon as we called, Chuck and Lynn were eager to help. Could not have been more thrilled and we would gladly stay again! AND the view was amazing!

Really nice place, very clean and quiet and awesome hosts!! Thank you and we will be back!

This is our second time staying here and both times we enjoyed the campground. Our favorite spot is up on the hill, there are beautiful views of the mountains and lake Watauga where you can have a bonfire, watch the sunset and the moon rise. Magical! Both times the campground was peaceful, no ruckus going on which is appreciated and the owners were wonderful.

All I can say is "I don't want to leave!" I have 'never' felt this way about a campground. It feels like home. It's quiet, has everything we need (full hook ups,) bird song, space to wander and views that change by the minute. It's perfect. It was great central location for us to get on our motorcycles and ride different roads (both improved and backroads/unimproved) for days. Thank you for offering such a wonderful place to call home, away from home.

What an amazing place to stay! Chuck and Lynne picked an absolutely amazing spot to share with their campground guests. The sunset views every night were absolutely fantastic and what better way to view them than by fireside. It is truly a special campground and one I won't be forgetting anytime soon!

Chuck and Lynne are great and the store have an amazing view. Everything went as planned and we look forward to staying again when back in the area. Great experience.

Lovely view, beautiful sunset, awesome owners, great place for dogs to run and big field for kids to play also sit on the hill have a fire and make smores.. peaceful.. highly recommended.. thank you!!!
